The Machine Party developers provide a looking-for-group Discord because the base game has no native public matchmaking list. The invite published with that update is discord.gg/Vt2qm6v8PN. It redirected successfully to Discord when checked on August 16, 2026. Discord is for finding people; the actual match still runs through Machine Party and Steam.
01 / VERIFIED DESTINATION
OPEN THE
LFG DISCORD.
Published in the official August 4 update and checked against Discord's current redirect.
Prefer the invite linked from the official Steam announcement. Check that the destination remains on discord.com or discord.gg. Do not install files, share a Steam password, send payment, or reveal authentication codes because a stranger claims it is required to join a lobby.
02 / WHY IT EXISTS
DISCORD IS THE
GROUP FINDER.
Machine Party is designed for 2–4 players. Invite a ready group through the normal Steam lobby flow.
Post your region, time, language, and open slots; then move the assembled group into the game.
The mod offers public-lobby discovery, but it is third-party software and does not increase the four-player cap.
The developers said a built-in public matchmaker or lobby list is not planned.
03 / INTERACTIVE TOOL
BUILD AN
LFG POST.
A useful post removes the first round of questions. Fill in only what you are comfortable sharing. This builder runs in your browser and does not send the form values to this site.
04 / FROM POST TO LOBBY
JOIN WITHOUT
CONFUSION.
- State the real group size.
Machine Party supports 2–4 players. If one person is ready, ask for one to three more—not five or eight. - Include a region or UTC offset.
This helps players estimate latency and avoid ambiguous local-time abbreviations. - Agree on a start time and language.
Keep voice chat optional unless the host specifically needs it. - Add players through the agreed Steam flow.
Use Discord to coordinate; use the game's private online lobby and Steam invite or room-code process to play. - Leave when the request changes.
Do not follow payment requests, credential prompts, or unofficial download instructions presented as lobby requirements.
05 / FAST ANSWERS
DISCORD
QUESTIONS.
What is the Machine Party Discord?
It is the developer-provided looking-for-group route linked in the August 4 update. Players use it to assemble an online group because the game does not include a native public lobby list.
What is the official Machine Party Discord invite?
The published LFG invite is discord.gg/Vt2qm6v8PN. It was checked on August 16, 2026. If an invite later expires, return to the official Steam announcement rather than trusting a random replacement.
Can I find random players without Discord?
The base game does not provide built-in public matchmaking. MachineParty+ adds an unofficial server browser, but installing a mod is a separate risk decision. Read the source-checked mods guide first.
Does Discord increase the player limit?
No. It helps find people; Machine Party still supports two to four players per lobby.
Is every Machine Party Discord official?
No. Fan-run and language-specific servers may exist. This page calls only the invite linked by the developers the developer-provided LFG route.
